UGANDA OPERATIONS MANAGER

Uganda Operations Manager Role
The Uganda Operations Manager is a key leadership and support position which involves taking the overall lead in water systems installation from the early stages of site selection to construction and thereafter, the sustainability aspect of the business model. He/ she will also have to build consensus and relationships among managers, partners, and employees. 

The successful candidate will need to have an understanding of general finance and budgeting, including profit and loss, balance sheet and cash-flow management. He/ she will be required to regularly monitor expenses and curtail a department's spending if necessary to keep the company on budget.

OUR DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Eng. Water Eng. or a similar relevant background Higher education in a relevant master degree is preferred.

  • 5+ years work experience in operations and management of which 3 of those years should be at senior level within management.

  • Experience in establishing networks and the ability to advocate for 4WardDevelopment East Africa.

  • Talent for working cooperatively to achieve common goals; support cooperation, collaboration and the sharing of information continuously improving standards to maintain quality
